Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans locked horns in the last-over thriller in the 30th match in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023. Both teams played this match at the AB Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The visitors’ skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first at the mixed-supportive surface of Ekana.

Batting first, the Titans’ batting lineup struggled in the first innings; they could manage to post a bit of a lower total of 135 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Later on, Lucknow Super Giants failed to cross the line and choked in the last over; eventually, they won the match and came back to the winning ways in the tournament.

Subsequently, the fans were also thrilled and amazed following this amazing and exciting encounter between two big teams of the top 4 in the points table of the tournament. They came up with some exciting and interesting reactions praising Gujarat Titans and also trolling the hosts Lucknow Super Giants.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Speaking of the entire action of the match, skipper Hardik Pandya played a crucial knock of 66 runs with two boundaries and four sixes to his name. Other than him, the senior opener Wriddhiman Saha also contributed with an individual score of 47 runs with six boundaries to help GT reach a total of 135 runs for the loss of six wickets in the first 20 overs of the game.

Krunal Pandya and Marcus Stoinis scalped two wickets each for LSG alongside one wicket each claimed by Naveen-ul-Haq and Amit Mishra.

While chasing the target, KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants were comfortably reaching till the beginning of the last over of the second innings. They had a score of 126 runs for the loss of three wickets in 19.1 overs requiring 10 runs in five balls with seven wickets in hand.

But unfortunately, it was the very moment when the senior pacer Mohit Sharma took the center stage for Gujarat Titans and took two consecutive wickets; other than this, LSG overall lost four wickets in four successive deliveries and lost the match by a margin of 7 runs and could score only 128 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
