South Africa's opener Lizelle Lee has gone to the top of the ICC Women's ODI rankings for the second time in her career. This comes after a string of outstanding performances in the ongoing ODI series against India.

Lizelle Lee is the only Proteas woman to have reached the top of the ODI rankings. She has reached the top in June 2018 after scoring 92* and 117 against England despite her team losing the match.

Against India, the right-hander ensured that South Africa wins the series. With one game remaining, the visitors have a 3-1 lead in the series.

Lizelle Lee climbed from the 11th place at the start of the series to first place. Her scores in four matches are 83, 4, 132, and 69. She has pushed England's Tammy Beaumont to 2nd spot in the ranking.

Punam Raut jumps 8 positions and sits 18th in the rankings

Punam Raut has jumped 8 spots to sit in the 18th position. She has hit two half-centuries and a century in the series. Smriti Mandhana (7th), ODI skipper Mithali Raj (9th), and vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur (15th) are the other three Indian batters in the top 20.

Jhulan Goswami ranks fifth in the ICC Women's Bowlers Rankings. Goswami is the top wicket-taker with 8 wickets in the series. The bowler's list is headed by Australian spinner Jess Jonassen, followed by her teammate pacer Megan Schutt.

Shabnim Ismail of South Africa, who has picked seven wickets in four matches against India, is third on the list. She has replaced teammate Marizanne Kapp, who has had a tough series so far. Rajeshwari Gayakwad, a left-arm spinner, is the third-highest wicket-taker in the series after 4 matches, moving up four spots to No. 18.

Just one Indian, Deepti Sharma, ranks in the top 10 of the all-rounder rankings, which is headed by Australia's Ellyse Perry.
