South Africa and Australia continued their ongoing multi-format series. Both sides will compete in the first ODI match against each other in five ODI matches series, with South Africa eager to improve on their results after losing the T20I series where they lost all three games. On the other hand, Australia were riding high on confidence with their T20I series win and aimed to put in a similar performance in the five-match ODI series to cap it off.
