After playing two warm-up matches against Western Australia, team India locked horns with Australia on 17 October 2022. Ahead of the 20-20 World Cup, it was their other warm-up match that took place at Gabba, Brisbane. Recently, Australia lost a T20I series in India against the Men in Blue. So, ahead of the mega event, both teams were looking for better preparations by facing each other.
Speaking of the match, Australia won the toss and they asked India to bat first. India posted a total of 186 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 50 runs off 33 balls. But, just before his dismissal, Surya came up with a funny confession while batting. The video went viral as fans found it funny.

Suryakumar Yadav hit six fours and a six in his innings against Australia
Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the last over of the innings. On the third delivery of that over, Suryakumar Yadav notched up his fifty in the warm-up. Axar Patel was batting at the non-striker end. Then, the Indian batter told Axar Patel that he is not in the mood to kill the bowling. It was clearly audible in the stump mic. But, he got out at the next ball only to Kane Richardson.
Speaking of the match, KL Rahul had a great outing in the match after scoring 57 runs off 33 balls, including six fours and three sixes. Then, in the middle order, Suryakumar Yadav scored 5 runs off 33 balls, including six fours and a six. For Australia, Kane Richardson took four wickets for 30 runs in four overs.
In reply, Australia got bundled out for 180 runs in 20 overs. Mohammed Shami came up to bowl the last over of the inning. He took three wickets by conceding only four runs. Thus, he managed a six-run victory for India in the warm-up. For the Aussies, skipper Aaron Finch scored 79 runs off 54 balls, including seven fours and three sixes.
