On 27 October 2022, South Africa took on Bangladesh in Sydney in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. The Proteas did not manage a win due to rain against Zimbabwe in the first match. On the other hand, Bangladesh were coming off after a win. So, the stage was set for a big battle between these sides.

Finally, he got out after scoring 109 runs off 56 balls, including seven fours and eight sixes. He batted at a strike rate of 194.64. These innings helped South Africa to score 205 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Rossouw managed to score the first hundred in this year's tournament.
For Bangladesh, Shakib al Hasan managed to take two wickets for 33 runs in three overs. It was back-to-back T20I hundreds for the South African batter. He last played in the third match of the series against India in India. In that match also, he smashed a quickfire hundred for the Proteas So, going forward in this tournament, this batterβs form can be crucial for Temba Bavuma and his men.
