The must-win game between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is getting intense even before both teams enter the Dubai stadium on September 1. It all started when the Sri Lanka skipper called the Bangladesh bowling dependent on only two players, i.e. Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan
”Afghanistan has a world-class bowling attack. We know Fizz (Mustafizur Rahman) is a good bowler. Shakib is a world-class bowler. But apart from them, there is no world-class bowler in the side. So if we compare with Afghanistan, Bangladesh is an easier opponent,” Dasun Shanaka said after the heavy defeat against Afghanistan.
After the statement, Bangladesh coach Khaled Mahmud questioned the statement of Shanaka. The former said that at least his team has one or two world-class bowlers but the Lankan Lions have none.

Now, former Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene has asked the players to show their Bangladeshi counterparts how well they can do on the field.

Both teams will play for a spot in the Super Four on Thursday (September 1) in Dubai.
