So, Babar Azam and his men are in a challenging position to get qualified for the semi-finals of the mega tournament. Pakistan lost against Zimbabwe by one run which made fans stunned.

Former cricketers and cricketing pundits also criticized players for such a shameful performance on a big stage like the World Cup. However, Wasim Akram is currently busy doing an analysis show named “The Pavillion” along with others like Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Shoaib Malik. There, Akram was about being the coach of Pakistan in the future. In response to that, he came up with a stunning reply as the video went viral.

Speaking of the video, a fan asked a question to Wasim Akram. The anchor of the show asked: “Why Shaun Tait? We have Wasim Akram. left-arm, reverse king, 414 international wickets.” In reply to that, Wasim Akram said: “This question has been asked a lot of times, even last year in the Pavillion, this year even generally social media pe puchte rehte hai.” with a smile.

He added: “Jab main coaches ka haal dekhta hun nah jo bhi Pakistan ka coach banta hai, especially Pakistani, we are not very nice to them. I mean these guys were there and I remember what you guys used to say on social media. I won’t be able to take it. So, that’s the thing. I won’t be able to take it.”   

“That criticism and all I can take it. Par Badtameezi, I won’t because main khud bahat Badtameez hun. Mera yeh mantra hai ki jo mere se pyar karega usse 10 guna pyar, jo mere se Badtameezi karega usse 100 guna jyada Badtameezi Karunga.” Wasim Akram concluded. After hearing such a response from the Pakistani legend, fans were left shocked.
