Some people can go to any extent to chase their dreams. These individuals are not afraid of failures and keep on trying unless they achieve their target. Such personalities are nothing short of inspiration to others. Thimothy Shanon Jebaseelan is one such individual, who managed to do the unthinkable.

The Sri Lankan, living in Australia, caught a cricket ball that was dropped by a drone 393 feet and 3 inches over the ground. Jebaseelan tried to attempt the same in 2019 as well, only to break his fingers. However, that did not stop him from coming back in 2021. This time he was even more determined and focused to make the world record his own.

He eventually managed to break a Guinness World Record, previously set by Kristen Baumgartner back in 2019. The British man caught the ball from 374 feet. Jabaseelan shattered that insane number and now is a worthy holder of the record.

"Breaking a Guinness World Records title is my dream. Ever since I was a kid I have been dreaming of this," Jebaseelan told Guinness.

Jabeseelan’s insane feat will be spoken for many years to come. Not often does a person manage to catch a ball from that height. We have also seen the best of the fielders drop easy catches on the cricket field. The Sri Lankan youngster was determined to not let this golden opportunity slip. Jabeseelan revealed that his one and only goal was to break this Guinness World Record. Jabeseelan managed to tick off that bucket list in style. For now, he can be proud of the efforts he has put in. Jabeseelan’s historic feet will also inspire other youngsters to go widely after their dreams.
