Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne has been in the form of his life. It wouldn't be an overstatement to say that he has been one of the best players in the longest format of the game for quite a while now. The Queensland batter recently went on to conduct a question and answer session on Twitter

During this 30-minute session, a Twitter user asked him about the best Indian batter and bowler he has faced in his career so far. While replying to the user, the 27-year-old took Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin's names.

“Best Indian Batter and Best Indian bowler you faced?” a fan questioned. “Virat & Ashwin,” Labuchagne replied.

The Indian fans were impressed by his response and appreciated him for his honesty. It is to be noted that he was absolutely superb in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2021-22, and was the leading run-scorer in the series.

A user also asked him if he ever picked his teammate Steve Smith's wickets in the nets, he responded in yes but said that Smith won't accept it. Shockingly, the 32-year-old ended up replying to his Tweet, saying that Australia's number three batter hasn't even come close to taking his wicket.

"Have you ever got Steve Smith's wicket in nets?" asked a fan to which Labuschagne replied "Yes but he would never admit it 😂" to which Steve Smith replied by saying "Never been close to getting me out @marnus3cricket".

In the meanwhile, Labuschagne has been one of Australia's significant contributors in the ongoing Ashes 2021-22. With 286 runs in seven innings, he has scored the most number of runs in the series so far. It will be exciting to see how he fares in the fifth and final Test in Hobart.
