Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has turned a year old. He has been the PM of India since 2014 and is doing his second term. Before becoming the PM, the Vadnagar-born was the Chief Minister of his state, Gujarat. However, his life wasn't easy, to begin with. During his younger days, he used to run a tea still to make his ends meet.

At the age of eight, he became a youth leader at the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS). During his 17-year stay at the organization, he developed his leadership skills. From 1975 to 1995, he was the General Secretary of the Lok Sangharsh Samiti in Gujarat. From 1995 till he became the chief minister in 2001, he worked national secretary of the Bhartiya Janta Party.

After serving three as the CM of his state, he is now the PM of the Asian country. Not many people might remember this but he is also a cricket follower. When India won the 2020-21 Border Gavaskar Trophy, he congratulated the national team. Early this year, when the colts team won the U19 World Cup, he congratulated the team on Radio. Now that he has turned 72, a lot of cricketers have wished him on his birthday.
