On 22 November 2022, team India locked horns with the Kiwis in Napier for the third match of the ongoing T20I series. After the semi-final exit from the 20-20 World Cup, team India came to this series with the hope of a fresh start. All senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli took a rest and that’s why Hardik Pandya got the opportunity to lead.

However, the first match got abandoned due to rain. Then, in the second match, the Men in Blue registered a 65-run victory over the home side. So, team India were looking to win the series by winning this match. While the Kiwis were looking to avoid a series loss. Speaking of the match, Tim Southee won the toss and he opted to bat first.

Both Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj took four wickets each in the third T20I

Kane Williamson missed the last match of the series. Therefore, Tim Southee led the team in this match. India made only one change. They included Harshal Patel in place of Washington Sundar. But, Indian bowlers were on fire as they bundled out New Zealand for 160 runs in 19.4 overs. Both Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj took four wickets each.

Arsshdeep took those wickets for 37 runs in his four overs. While Siraj took four wickets for 17 runs in his four overs. Meanwhile, Arshdeep also had a great 20-20 World Cup campaign for India. In six matches, he managed to take 10 wickets. However, he was wicketless in the last match while Siraj took two wickets for 24 runs in the second match. So, they did not disappoint their fans this time around with their performances. For New Zealand, both Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips scored 59 runs and 54 runs respectively. Seeing such a performance from both the pacers, fans went crazy as they shared their views on social media platforms.
