Talking about the game, Giants skipper Jacques Kallis won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 170/8 despite losing regular wickets. The giants batted well in the death overs which is why they reached such a respectable total. Notably, both teams played in the first season of the tournament early this year. This time around, both teams have been disbanded. Teams that will play in the tournament are - India Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Manipal Tigers, and Bhilwara Kings.
