Mohammed Shami received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. He informed his fans about the news through Twitter. Shami shared a picture getting the vaccination with a caption that urged people to get vaccinated as well.
The fast bowler was recently seen in action in the 14th edition of IPL. But Mohammed Shami had been out of action for more than three months. He had fractured his arm in the first Test against Australia. Thereby, he had to miss out on the next three tests of the Border-Gavaskar trophy. Along with that he also missed out on the home series against England in all three formats.
After returning, Shami did a good job with the ball in IPL 2021. He picked up 8 wickets in 8 games. His economic rate was 8.12. He has also been selected to be part of the Indian team for the upcoming tour of England. He is expected to play an important role over the next few months.
The trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, and Mohammed Shami would likely be back for the World Test Championship final. This pace trio had helped India successfully dominate opponents with the bowling attack.
