The great understanding with KL Rahul has helped Shami to excel in the IPL as a bowler. Shami is in second place on the list of the highest wicket-taker in the ongoing season of IPL. In 12 matches, he has taken 20 wickets so far for his team.
Even though Kings XI Punjab started their IPL 2020 campaign on a poor note, Mohammed Shami tried to deliver decently in each match. His side won only 1 match out of the first seven IPL 2020 games. During the second half of the season, they made a comeback and won their last 5 games consecutively.
