Virat Kohli shocked the cricket fraternity after he decided to step down as India Test skipper. Kohli had already relinquished T20I captaincy and following his removal as ODI captain, no one expected him to give up Test leadership as well. However, the former Indian captain had other ideas.
Meanwhile, wishes have been pouring in from all corners of the world for Virat Kohli for a successful leadership reign. Kohli took Indian cricket to great heights and transformed the team into a ruthless unit. Meanwhile, India pacer Mohammed Siraj has also paid his tribute to Virat Kohli. Kohli and Siraj play together for Bangalore in the Indian T20 League and share a great bond. Kohli realised Siraj's potential and backed him in India's Test team. Siraj too repaid the faith by consistent performances.
Taking to Instagram, Siraj penned an emotional post for Virat Kohli. "To my superhero, I cannot be thankful enough for the support and the encouragement that I got from you. You have always been my great brother. Thank you for trusting me and believing in me for all these years. For seeing the great at my worst. You will always be my captain King Kohli," wrote Siraj.

Siraj considers Kohli as his elder brother and often posts how Kohli has helped him improve as a person and cricketer. On Kohli's 33rd birthday, Siraj had posted an adorable video for Kohli and wrote. “Not everyone is as lucky as me to be blessed with an elder brother like you. Thank you so much for coming into my life and standing by my side through thick and thin. I hope you get all that you truly deserve. Happy Birthday Kings"
Meanwhile, with the pressure of leading the team off his back, Kohli will be keen to play freely and end his century drought. The three-match ODI series against South Africa starts tomorrow, January 19 in Paarl.
