MS Dhoni is one of the best cricketing characters in the history of Indian Cricket. Under his leadership, India managed to win all major titles available around the globe. After conquering the Cricket field, there were reports that MS Dhoni is set to make his debut in Kollywood. 

Now, reports are suggesting that the former Indian skipper is going to launch his own film production company. It will be named ‘Dhoni Entertainment’. They will focus on producing films in several languages like Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Initially, there were reports that MS Dhoni’s company will produce a film named ‘Thalapathy 68’.

In that film, Dhoni will play a cameo role as per reports. However, no official announcement has been made so far. As per sources, Dhoni and Vijay met for a shooting a few months back. Meanwhile, they were talking about the film deal in a friendly way. Also, there were reports that Vijay had agreed already to the movie.

Reports also suggested that actress Nayanthara will play the role of heroine for his first project. Apart from cricket, Dhoni has always shown interest in different fields. Till now, he already invested in various fields like poultry, agriculture, brewery, gym, and clothing. Therefore, his company, named Dhoni Entertainment, is now looking to produce such movies in near future.

Speaking of his illustrative career, the former Indian skipper brought many glories to Indian Cricket. In 2007, he led India to win the inaugural edition of the 20-20 World Cup. Then, in 2011, MS Dhoni helped India to win the 50-over format World Cup after a gap of 28 years. In 2013, he won the Champions Trophy for India. Even, under his captaincy, India managed to sit at the top of the rankings in the longer format of the game. Currently, MS Dhoni only plays for his Chennai franchise in the Indian T20 League. Now, ahead of the new season, he will be eager to perform in Chennai as the tournament will be conducted in the home and away format from this year again.
