Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj made his international debut in the Boxing Day Test against Australia in Melbourne. The 27-year-old grabbed headlines with his impressive performances as he concluded with 13 scalps from just three matches. Siraj was the highest wicket-taker for the visitors in the Test series despite not having played the first Test. He delivered for the team in the absence of regular players- Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Umesh Yadav. Two Tests old Siraj led India's pace attack in the final Test match against Australia. He came up with a spectacular performance as he scalped six wickets at the Gabba to help team India secure a memorable Test series win Down Under.

Mohammed Siraj could be the key bowler for RCB in IPL 2021

Talking about the shortest format of the game, Mohammed Siraj doesn't have a tremendous T20 record. However, his game has improved by leaps and bounds over the last year. International experience seems to have given the Hyderabad bowler a renewed sense of confidence. With this, he can also become RCB's critical bowlers in the 14th IPL season. Predicted to take the new ball for RCB this year, Siraj could build upon the few robust performances he put in during the previous IPL campaign. Acknowledged as a wicket-taking bowler, Siraj could ultimately make a run to the top of the Purple Cap charts in IPL 2021. He has so far featured in 35 IPL games, picking up 39 wickets.
