India ended up winning the recently concluded three-match ODI series by 2-1 after a 66-run defeat in the third and last ODI. Meanwhile, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and former skipper Virat Kohli made it to the headlines for their gestures off the field after the conclusion of the match.
Both the cricketing superstars spend time with the Saurashtra youngsters who were asked to join Team India in the third ODI for the drinks and other stuff. Subsequently, Virat and Rohit also clicked pictures with the youngsters to make their day special. These pictures also went viral on social media within minutes of being shared by an X user.
Speaking of the action of the match, the visiting skipper Pat Cummins had the upper hand at the time of the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Aussies posted a total of 352 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 50 overs courtesy of some brilliant performances from their top-4 batters.

Openers, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh contributed with the impressive knocks of 56 and 96 runs, respectively. Following them, the former skipper Steve Smith and star number 4 batter Marnus Labuschagne also played the knocks of 74 and 72 runs, respectively to help Australia reach a big total in the first innings.
Star Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah claimed three wickets, alongside two wickets scalped by Kuldeep Yadav. Other than Bumrah and Kuldeep, the other two pacers, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna also picked two wickets each.
While chasing the target, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli played the brilliant knocks of 81 and 56 runs, respectively; but India couldn’t make a comeback in the match just after Rohit and Kohli dismissed off star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.
Eventually, India got bundled out on the score of 286 runs and lost the match by 66 runs. Star Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell won the ‘Player of the Match award for his match-defining bowling performance.
