Indian Premier League 2023 has entered its playoffs as the first qualifier has been played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. With a win by a margin of 15 runs against GT, MS Dhoni’s CSK have become the first team to enter the final of the 16th edition of the tournament.
Apart from the knock-out stage of the tournament, the IPL and the Indian Cricket Board have come up with an initiative that is now making the rounds on social media among cricket fans across India and in the international cricketing fraternity.
Indian Cricket Board has planned to plant a tree for every dot ball in the Indian Premier League 2023. Meanwhile, the fans are also coming up with many amazing reactions and responses on social media after this initiative from the Indian Cricket Board. They took to Twitter and trolled a few of the senior Indian players for playing dot balls.

Speaking of the knock-out stage, Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator of the tournament at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today on the 24th of May from 7.30 PM. The winning side of the eliminator match will take on the Gujarat Titans in the second qualifier to secure their place in the summit clash of the tournament.
The second qualifier of the tournament will decide the two finalists of the contest to play for the title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on the 28th of May from 7.30 PM.
