Afghanistan had a 69-run victory over England, at the Arun Jaitely Stadium, New Delhi. The defending champions were shocked by the Afghans as they suffered an upsetting loss against them. During the match fans, who were present at the Arun Jaitley stadium started were seen chanting 'Naveen Bhai, Naveen Bhai’, when the bowler was fielding outside the 30-yard circle. The pacer is seen smiling as he turns back and shows some great gestures towards the fans. 

During the India vs Aghanistan match Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli who were previously involved in a heated argument during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match. But in that very match they were seen hugging each other in between the game and the fight got over. In the England match, he received massive respect from the crowd after he dismissed English skipper Jos Buttler as the whole crowd started cheering and chanting ‘Naveen, Naveen’. He played a key role too in the win. 

He has been in the talks after the fight between him and the former India skipper ended. Previously he was criticised a lot by the fans worldwide as Kohli has a global fan base. As the issue was resolved between them the fans backed him and supported him as well.

Afghanistan creates history

Hashmatullah Shahidi's side has ended their 14-match losing streak in the ODI World Cup, as they have beaten England. Batting first opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a blistering knock of 80 runs off 57 balls hitting 8 fours and 4 sixes. They posted a total of 285 runs before being bowled out. 

In reply, England did not get the start they were looking for and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan spun webbed around the Afghan batters. The former was named the Man of the Match for his sensational performance against the defending champions. He picked up three wickets and scored some 28 runs. 

They will next face New Zealand at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
