Ritika Sajdeh wishes Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur on his birthday

Ritika Sajdeh wished Shardul Thakur on his 32nd birthday. The wife of the Indian captain took to Instagram and wished Thakur on his birthday. Sajdeh posted some images of Shardul on her Instagram story and wrote "May your weirdness only grow with years." The images had Shardul, Rohit, and many other Indian cricketers in the frame. The wish of Sajdeh has gone viral on internet. 

Shardul is currently with the Indian team in the ODI World Cup. So far in the tournament, Thakur has performed very well. In the match against afghanistan, Shardul claimed the important wicket of Rahmat Shah. Later, he took an amazing catch to get rid of a dangerous Rahmanullah Gurbaz. The wicket helped India to make a comeback in the match. 

Following the catch and his brilliant efforts in the match as a fielder, Shardul got the Best fielder of the match award in the Indian dressing room. Virat Kohli, who got the award in the first match of the tournament against Australia, handed over the winner medal to Shardul. Even against Pakistan, Shardul was handy as a sixth bowler. With the bat, Thakur has not got an opportunity to perform.

Thakur who has turned 32 today, has played some excellent cameos in Test cricket as a batter in some of the important matches of India. It was Shardul who scored fifty in Brisbane in the first innings with the bat, that helped India to recover from a situation of 186/6. After the knock of Shardul, India ended up scoring 338 runs and brought down the deficit closer to that of Australia.

With the ball, Shardul claimed 7 wickets in the match. Against England at The Oval, Thakur scored an aggressive fifty in the first innings with the bat. In the second innings, Thakur again scored a fifty and helped India to get a big lead. India won both those Tests, which seemed difficult at one stage. In South Africa, Shardul claimed a 7-wicket haul in the second Test in Johannesburg.
