The main reason for India’s amazing show with the ball was 33-year-old Mohammed Shami. The right-arm pacer took 5 for 18 which is his career-best figure in ODI Cricket and also took his ODI World Cup 2023 wicket tally to 14. The fifer on Thursday gave Shami 45 wickets to make him the leading Indian wicket-taker in the ODI World Cups.
