Pakistan announce squads for England and West Indies series

Pakistan Cricket Board has announced their squads for the upcoming series against England and West Indies. The Men in Green are going to play three ODIs and as many T20Is in a tour of England.

Pakistan Cricket Board has announced their squads for the upcoming series against England and West Indies. The Men in Green are going to play three ODIs and as many T20Is in a tour of England. Post that, they will travel to the Caribbean for five T20Is and two Test matches against the West Indies. The Pakistan selector committee has selected a few experienced players for the upcoming clashes and several uncapped players as well. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for both tours on Friday.

Fakhar Zaman has been retained in the T20I team

Middle-order batsman Haris Sohail will be making a comeback to the ODI team. On the other hand, Imad Wasim is part of the T20 squad. The spin-bowling all-rounder has also returned to the One Day International team. Uncapped player Saud Shakeel, who had missed the SA ODIs due to injury, has been included in the ODI series. Salman Ali Agha has also made it to the ODI squad. However, he will not be a part of the Test team.

Experienced bowler Mohammad Abbas and Naseem Shah have been included in the Test squad for the West Indies leg. Leg-spinner Yasir Shah is also part of the Test team, but he will only be allowed to play after clearing the fitness test. Meanwhile, the batsman Fakhar Zaman has been retained in the T20I squad after being added as an additional player for the Zimbabwe T20Is.
