While speaking on his YouTube channel, Kamran Akmal criticized Babar Azam for Pakistan’s recent results. He said: “We know where we made mistakes. Those who made their debut, did they deserve it? Did we play the XI according to the pitch? The captaincy wasn't perfect. You look at Ben Stokes' captaincy and Babar's captaincy... he has been Pakistan's skipper for so long, at least have some maturity now, and take better decisions. At least make your presence feel in the ground. There was nothing positive about him.”
The former spinner, Danish Kaneria also slammed Babar Azam and urged people to stop comparing him with Virat Kohli. While speaking on his official YouTube channel, Danish Kaneria said: "People should stop comparing Babar Azam to Virat Kohli. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are very big players.
