Pakistan disappointed their fans on 20 December 2022 when England whitewashed them 3-0 at home in the Test series. With that, Pakistan lost four Test matches for the first time in their history in a calendar year. It was also an unwanted record for Babar Azam. People and former fans have also slammed Babar Azam for his poor captaincy throughout the series.

However, in 2022, Pakistan lost limited over and Test series at home against Australia. Then, T20I and Test series against England at home. They lost against Zimbabwe in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 while lost the Asia Cup 2022 final against Sri Lanka. Now, a video has gone viral where a Pakistan channel has mocked Babar for his careless comments after every series loss.

Here is the shared video:

“At least make your presence feel in the ground” - Kamran Akmal on Babar Azam

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Kamran Akmal criticized Babar Azam for Pakistan’s recent results. He said: “We know where we made mistakes. Those who made their debut, did they deserve it? Did we play the XI according to the pitch? The captaincy wasn't perfect. You look at Ben Stokes' captaincy and Babar's captaincy... he has been Pakistan's skipper for so long, at least have some maturity now, and take better decisions. At least make your presence feel in the ground. There was nothing positive about him.”

The former spinner, Danish Kaneria also slammed Babar Azam and urged people to stop comparing him with Virat Kohli. While speaking on his official YouTube channel, Danish Kaneria said: "People should stop comparing Babar Azam to Virat Kohli. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are very big players. Pakistan have nobody in their team who can be compared to them. If you make them talk, they will be a king. When you ask them to produce results, they'll be zero."

"Babar Azam is a big zero as captain. He doesn't deserve to lead the team. He is not capable of leading the team, especially when it comes to Test cricket. He had a good chance of learning captaincy by looking at Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum during the series. Or, he could have kept his ego aside and asked Sarfaraz Ahmed how to captain," Kaneria concluded.
