Pakistan are currently busy preparing for the upcoming three-match Test series against England. Recently, both teams managed to compete in the final of the recently concluded 20-20 World Cup. In that match, Pakistan batted first and scored 137 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, England chased down the target in 19 overs with five wickets to spare. Sam Curran won the player of the match award for taking three wickets for 12 runs in four overs.

But, Ben Stokes scored vital 52* runs off 49 balls, including five fours and one six during that chase. He was instrumental in helping England to win the 20-20 World Cup for the second time in their history. However, he will be seen playing again for England in the upcoming three-match Test series against Pakistan in Pakistan. The series will begin on 1 December 2022.

Ben Stokes announced the decision on his official Twitter account

On 28 November 2022, Ben Stokes shared a message on his official Twitter account. There, he said that he will donate all the match fees from the upcoming Test series to the flood victims. He wrote: "It is great to be in Pakistan for the first time for this historic series. To be back here after 17 years as a Test side is very exciting. There is a sense of responsibility amongst the playing and support group and to be there is special."

"The floods that devastated Pakistan earlier this year were very sad to see and have had a significant impact on the country and the people. The game has given me a lot in my life and I feel it's only right to give something back that goes far beyond cricket. I will be donating my match fees from this Test series to the Pakistan flood appeal. Hopefully, this donation can go towards the rebuilding of areas of Pakistan most affected by the flooding," Ben Stokes concluded. After watching that post, fans went berserk as they started to troll the English all-rounder.
