India wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan is reported to make his Test debut in the fourth Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. He is part of the squad as regular keeper Rishabh Pant continues to recover from the injuries he sustained after a car crash. On the other hand, KS Bharat, who was been donning the gloves, hasn't produced the desired output with the bat.

However, his keeping has been up to the mark. Talking about the series, Australia has kept the series alive for them although they can't win it. Apparently, they won the third Test in Indore in three days. The home team is leading the series by 2-1. They need to win the last game to qualify for the Global Test Championship's final 2021-23.

Now, it is reported by The Indian Express that there might be some changes. Mohammed Siraj, who was rested in the Indore Test, might make it back with the Ahmedabad pitch curators preparing two pitches for the last Test. One of those wickets has enough grass to support pace bowling. On the other hand, Kishan might make it in place of Bharat although this is a matter of debate.

Meanwhile, the fans aren't happy with his reported inclusion. They feel that Bharat can be given another game given his near perfect wicketkeeping.
