Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly offered to play for Paris Saint Germain (PSG). However, his offer was apparently rejected. In the last few months, it is believed that Manchester United is ready to let him go. Recently, he missed the practise sessions of the team on the family grounds. His agent, Jorge Mendes has been looking to get him on the French team.
However, it is reported by the French newspaper Le Parisien that Ronaldo offered his services, but got rejected by the club. The reports suggest that the team already has star players such as Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe. This makes the signing of the Portuguese legend very difficult. If this is true, the fans might not be able to see Ronaldo and Messi together in a team.
Currently, Cristiano is 37 years old and doesn't have a long career ahead of him. Meanwhile, nothing is official yet. The Manchester United leaving the star player isn't confirmed by the team yet. They have maintained till now that they are not letting Ronaldo go. It will be interesting to see how things go in the near future.
Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Napoli are also assumed to have signed the Portugal star. Recently, Lionel Messi, who is part of PSG, reportedly threatened to leave the club if the five-time Ballon d’Or winner joins the club. Notably, when Messi was asked about playing with Ronaldo in 2015, the former said "Yes, of course," the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner said.
"I always like to play with the best, and he is one of them. I think it will be difficult for us to play in the same team, but obviously I would like to.
"I was lucky enough to play and participate with many very good players and, obviously, I would also like to do it with him."
These statements make things very interesting as now Lionel is reported to threaten his team owners of leaving the team if Ronaldo is signed.
