Team India are currently preparing for the last and third match of the ODI series against Bangladesh. Followed by that, they will also play a two-match Test series. However, Bangladesh already have bagged the series by winning the first two matches. So, fans were not happy after the Men in Blue registered their second consecutive ODI series loss after the 20-20 World Cup.

Along with fans, former cricketers have also criticized Rohit Sharma and his men heavily as they failed to show more intensity than the home side. Now, the former Indian cricketer, Madan Lal also raised questions about the intensity of the team. He also said that the team is not going in the right direction.

“They are not looking like an Indian team at all” - Madan Lal slammed team India

While talking to PTI in an interview, Madan Lal said that the team is not looking like an Indian team at all. They have been lacking the intensity to play the game for the last two years. He said: "Definitely the Indian team is not going in the right direction. I have not seen the intensity in the team of late. I have not seen 'Josh' in them in the last couple of years."

"They are not looking like an Indian team at all. That passion of playing for the country is missing. Either their bodies are too tired or they are just going through the motions. And this is a serious concern," he added.

After the second ODI loss in Mirpur, Rohit Sharma said that India "can't have guys coming in to play for the country half-fit". Regarding that comment, Madan Lal said: "Who is responsible for this? Are trainers responsible for this? Why are unfit players going? You are playing international cricket and the result is in front of you. If they want to take rest they can take rest during Indian T20 League matches. Your country comes first. If you are not going to win major trophies, your nation's cricket is going to go down."
