In the last few days, cricketers and actors have been coming up with a poster by the name of ‘Mega Blockbuster’. Fans thought that it was a movie poster that also saw India skipper Rohit Sharma featuring. However, the confusion was sorted when the Indian Cricket Board president Sourav Ganguly appeared in what turned out to be an ad campaign. The former India skipper uploaded a picture of it on Twitter.

Everything was fine until users started noticing the caption of the photo. The photo was captioned “*post copy* It was fun shooting for it! My new Mega Blockbuster is releasing soon! #TrailerOut4thSept #MegaBlockbuster. *Please ensure that the Meesho brand name or Meesho hashtag is nowhere mentioned in the September 1 post.” The caption clearly suggests that he got instructions on how to post the image.

However, it seems that he copy-pasted the entire instruction manual. This was a hilarious situation for the fans as they took the screenshots before Ganguly could delete the post. A famous journalist, Tanuj Lakhina took the screenshot and posted it on his Twitter handle. The post was captioned “The “Mega Blockbuster” campaign being posted by many celebrities belongs to @Meesho_Official. Ruined by Ganguly’s social media team. Welp!.”

Even though the journalist feels that the social media team of the Bengal player has ruined the campaign. On the other hand, there could be a possibility that Ganguly himself upload the images and made the hilarious blunder. Renowned actresses like Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, and comedian Kapil Sharma were all a part of the campaign. It would be interesting to see what happens next. Meanwhile, the netizens have come up with memes and comments trolling the left-hander.
