He was called just a day before as a replacement for Kuldeep Yadav. Shahbaz, who has more than 424 first-class wickets, just played two test matches for India. Although in white ball cricket, he was called for several series but never got a chance to represent India.

The Andhra wicketkeeper-batter KS Bharat has been phenomenal in domestic cricket as he is one of the most talented players in the country. From being a ball boy in 2004 to playing record-breaking innings in Ranji Trophy, he has come a long way.

In absence of Rishabh Pant, Bharat has been India’s go-to wicketkeeper in Test cricket. With his consistent performance in domestic cricket, he earned a call from national selectors and made his debut for India against Australia in March 2023. Although he failed to get a chance in limited over matches and still looking to bang the door.

Mukund also has been a great player in domestic cricket but failed to convert the success on an international level. Mukund, at the age of 20, scored a triple century on his Ranji Trophy debut and had made a quadruple-century opening stand with Murli Vijay for Tamil Nadu.

In the four seasons of the Ranji Trophy, Mukund scored runs at an average of 60. He received his maiden Test call in 2011 against West Indies where he played a couple of good knocks and earned the next tour too. Although due to a dip in his domestic performance, Mukund failed to represent India in limited formats and has been a faded star of Indian cricket.
