The ongoing first day of the second Ashes 2023 Test at the Lord’s in London witnessed something that was not good for cricket and the cricket fans to see. The two streakers happened to invade the pitch just at the moment when the second over of the first innings of Australia was about to start.
The two guys came on the ground with orange powder to show their dissent regarding the ‘Stop Oil Protest’ in England. One of them was tackled immediately on the ground, whereas the second guy was carried off the ground and manhandled by none other than the veteran England veteran wicketkeeper-batter Jonny Bairstow.
In recent developments, London Police, Scotland Yard has arrested the two streakers and took them to custody on the sidelines of the ongoing Ashes Test at the Lord’s.
