Footballers are very popular across the globe for the celebrations they do after scoring a goal. These unique celebrations always get the fans energized and excited. From Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Siuu' to Ayoze Pérez and Kylian Mbappe’s celebrations, the world imitates these celebrations. The Indian T20 League also has seen many such imitations of footballers' celebrations.
Cricketers emulate their favourite footballer's signature style in order to celebrate their achievements. Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav, and Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga have imitated their favourite footballer's signature styles in the Indian T20 League. After scoring his second century of the season against Mumbai, Lucknow captain KL Rahul was seen imitating Manchester City's Jack Grealish's celebration style. Siraj also imitates Cristiano Ronaldo' Siuu celebration after taking a wicket.
And now, Premier League India's official Twitter account has acknowledged these celebrations. They took to Twitter and posted a hilarious collage of cricketers emulating their favourite footballer's signature moves. "In a parallel universe," read the caption of the tweet.
