Prithvi Shaw gives priceless reactions after finally getting a call-up for T20Is against New Zealand

Prithvi Shaw is currently busy playing the ongoing Ranji Trophy for Mumbai. However, he made headlines a few days back when he scored 379 runs off 383 balls, including 49 fours and four sixes. So, fans were buzzing after seeing such an explosive inning in the longest format of the game. 

But, in recent times, despite performing in the domestic circuit, Prithvi Shaw failed t get a call-up for team India in any series. So, fans were not happy with the Indian Cricket Board and team management. But, on 13 January 2023, when the Board announced the squad for the home T20I series against the Kiwis, Shaw finally managed to get a place. In response to that, he came up with some priceless reactions on his Instagram account.

Speaking of the shared image of posts, Prithvi Shawa shared several good luck messages and wishes on his Instagram account. Speaking about recent form, Prithvi has scored 579 runs in eight innings, at an average of 67.37. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he scored 332 runs in 10 innings, at an average of 36.88. 

But, his strike rate of 181.42 was what made headlines. He was instrumental in Mumbai’s trophy-winning journey. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 217 runs in seven innings, at an average of 31 with a strike rate of 105.33. He even shared some cryptic posts when selectors were neglecting him. After missing out on the recent New Zealand and Bangladesh tour squads, Prithvi Shaw shared a pic of Sai Baba and wrote, “Hope you are watching everything, Sai Baba.”

The Mumbai batter also bagged nine awards at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) award ceremony. Prithvi shared the news on Instagram and wrote: "I just want people to feel like they can achieve something great in their lives. We all go through rough times. You’ve got to believe in yourself. And if you believe, you will achieve it."
