Quetta Gladiators' all-rounder Shahid Afridi has tested positive for COVID-19. The veteran will now have to quarantine and deliver negative results before joining the squad. Notably, this is the last season for Afridi, who will retire from professional cricket after the 2022 edition.
Afridi wanted to end his career while playing for Quetta Gladiators thus he was released by Multan Sultans land roped in by Quetta for this season. However, the batter will now have to wait for a while before donning the Quetta Jersey.
