Pakistan A and India A are locking horns in a high-octane clash in the ongoing Emerging Men’s Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka. Both teams are playing this match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Star India A pacer Rajvardhan Hangargekar shone with the ball in the first innings and scalped his List-A career’s second five-wicket haul.

Riding on Hangargekar’s bowling heroics, India A managed to bundle up Pakistan A for 205 runs in 48 overs. Subsequently, the fans are also elated following this sensational performance from the Indian bowlers, especially the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star Rajvardhan Hangargekar, who rose to the occasion for India in the big match. Fans took to social media to shower praises on Indian bowlers. Some of the fans also felt that the bench strength of the IPL is way stronger than the talents of the Pakistan Super League.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Speaking of the current action of the match, India A started their run chase for a target of 206 runs. Opening batter Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 20 in the 12th over. His partner Sai Sudarshan, on the other end, scored a well-made half-century.

Earlier in the first innings of the match, the men in green posts struggled a lot against the Indian bowling attack. They had lost their 6 wickets only on the score of 95 runs in 26.5 overs when skipper Mohammad Harris fell prey to Manav Suthar on the individual score of 14 runs. Later, it was the middle-order batter Qasim Akram who sojourned there in the middle to stabilize Pakistan A’s innings. He scored crucial 48 runs to help his side reach a total of 205 runs in 48 overs.

Other than Rajvardhan Hangargekar's 5 wickets at the cost of 42 runs in 8 overs, Manav Suthar also claimed three wickets after conceding only 36 runs in his quota of 10 overs. Whereas, Riyan Parag and Nishant Sindhu also picked one wicket each.
