The veteran Indian batter and Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara has been a very nucleus point of India’s struggle in the second innings of the ongoing Indore Test against Australia. He played a fighting half-century of 59 runs off 142 balls with five boundaries and a stunning six to his name before falling prey to Nathan Lyon in the 57th over of the second Indian innings.

Other than Pujara, it was only Shreyas Iyer who crossed the mark of 20+ runs with a knock of 26 runs off 27 balls with three boundaries and two sixes on his credit. The skipper Rohit Sharma himself was very happy with Pujara’s knock and the latter’s intent of hitting a six just a few balls before he got out.

The fans also went overjoyed following this amazing approach from the Rajkot’s veteran of 101 Tests for India. They took to Twitter to shower praises on Cheteshwar Pujara and appreciate his efforts for the team when it was all-important.
