Rahul Dravid predicts India to win Test series in England 3-2

Legendary Indian batsman Rahul Dravid believes that the Indian cricket team is going to win their upcoming Test series in England. The 5-match series against England in their home ground begins on August 4. The opening Test of the series is going to be held at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. India defeated England at the same venue when they last met back in the year 2018. The Lord's, Headingley, Kennington Oval, and Old Trafford are the venues for the remaining four matches of the Test series.

BCCI announced a 20-man squad for WTC and India tour of England

The Indian cricket team is going to play the World Test Championship final against New Zealand at Southampton from June 18-22. After the conclusion of the WTC India will take on England in a five-match test series. The final of the WTC is going to be played in a bio-secure bubble at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton. The final, which was eventually supposed to take place in Lord's ground in London, was shifted to the Rose Bowl in Southampton owing to COVID-19 restrictions. It will take place from June 18-22, with 23 being a reserve day.

New Zealand was the first side to make it to the ICC World Test Championship final. India then joined the Black Caps following their series win over England. India and New Zealand qualified for the final encounter after coming first and second in the WTC standings, respectively. The men in blue ended with the highest percentage points, whereas New Zealand came second to set up the thrilling clash.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India recently declared a 20-man squad for the forthcoming World Test Championship and India tour of England. Team India's first stop is going to be in Southampton. After that, India will play against New Zealand to decide the first champion of the Test format. Following their 3-1 victory against England at home, team India finished as the No. 1 side with 72.2 percentage points.
