Rajasthan had a thrilling seven-run win over Kolkata on Monday, and Yuzvendra Chahal was the backbone of their defense. The leg spinner picked up his first-ever five-wicket haul in the tournament and also completed a hat trick in the last over of his spell.
He took the wickets of Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Mavi, and Pat Cummins to complete his hat trick. Meanwhile, Rajasthan had a special surprise for their match-winner following his stupendous performance. Rajasthan has created a website called "www.yuzigetsahattrick.com", that features various photographs of Yuzvendra Chahal. The website also includes a section titled "UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A HAT-TRICK," which lists all of Rajasthan's upcoming games.

Yuzvendra Chahal was elated with the win and his performance in the game on Monday. Here's what he had to say at the post match presentation.
"I had to take wickets in this match to change the result. I worked on my bowling, I spoke to the coaches and the skipper. I was thinking of a googly but then I didn’t want to take a chance. Would have been happy with a dot ball as well on my hat-trick ball. My googly was coming out well and sent it down to Venkatesh Iyer," he said after winning the player of the match.
He is the most experienced leg-spinner in the country'- Lasith Malinga
Team fast bowling coach, Lasith Malinga, in the post-match press conference, said that Chahal's experience helped them in winning the match.
"Chahal has more international experience. He is the most experienced leg-spinner in the country and in this tournament. He showed how to control the skill. That’s more important for him going forward to prove he is good enough to play any competitive cricket," he said.
Adding to it he said, "Leg-spinners have more wicket-taking options and he showed today how he can get wickets and changed the game in a single over. I think he showed all the leg-spinners that they are the match-winning bowlers in this competition."
