In utter dismay to the Lucknow Super Giants, the skipper KL Rahul has been taken off the field due to the injury that he sustained during the ongoing 43^rd match of the Indian Premier League 2023 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Notably, both teams are playing this match at the AB Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Meanwhile, a section of cricket fans immediately took to Twitter to share a lot of memes and reactions on the micro-blogging site as KL Rahul went off the field during the action of the match against RCB. The hosts are now playing in the match in the absence of their regular skipper.
