Talking about the entire action of the match, the top three of RCB managed to smash three amazing half-centuries. Star openers, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis played the crucial knocks of 61 and 79 runs respectively; the duo also provided a strong start to RCB by scoring 96 runs for the first wicket. Other than these two, the star batting all-rounder Glenn Maxwell played a swashbuckling knock of 59 runs off just 29 balls with three boundaries and six sixes to his name.
Mark Wood and Amit Mishra were the only bowlers to scalp one wicket each for LSG in the first innings.
Later on, while chasing the target, the visitors Super Giants were in a trouble at a moment when they lost three wickets only on the score of 23 runs in 4 overs. But Marcus Stoinis took the charge with a blistering knock of 65 runs off just 30 balls with six boundaries and five sixes with the wood.
Following Stoinis, it was Nicholas Pooran who stunned everyone with his sensational knock of 62 runs off just 19 balls with four boundaries and seven sixes on his credit.
Eventually, LSG crossed the line at the last ball of the last over to win the match by a very close margin of one wicket and register their second successive win in the tournament.
