On 16 January 2023, Brisbane Heat took on Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League. It was the 44th match of the tournament that took place in Melbourne. Both teams have failed to perform to their potential so far in this edition. So, both teams were looking to improve their position by winning this clash.

Fans were also hoping for a better match between these sides. Speaking of the match, Brisbane Heat won the toss and asked the home side to bat first. For them, Joe Clarke and Thomas Rogers came out to bat. They failed to provide a steady start as the first wicket fell on just 19 runs in 2.3 overs.

Brisbane Heat defeated Melbourne Stars by three wickets in BBL12

Joe Clarke scored only four runs off nine balls. Along with him, Rogers scored 26 runs off 23 balls, including three boundaries.
