With the Legends League Cricket now being done, the greats of the game will be seen in the second edition of the Road Safety World Series. Many players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Jonty Rhodes, Kevin Pietersen, Brian Lara, and others were seen last time. The concept was a big success and India Legends won the first season.
There were some questions raised about the tournament's commencement, but the second season is officially on. The second season of the RSWS is speculated to start in the last week of February ,up till the last week of March.
As quoted by MyKhel, a source said, “The organizers are looking for a window during the early part of the Indian summer to hold the second edition of the Road Safety World Series in at least four cities in India – Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Lucknow, and Indore. Though the final schedule is yet to be closed, you can expect to see the legends in action again in the next couple of months.
“The organizers and local administrations in these cities are also keeping a close watch on the current Covid scenario in the country to decide whether fans can be allowed in the stadium during the event. A final call on this will be taken at a later stage depending on the prevailing situation at that time.”
India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, and West Indies participated in the tournament. India Legends won the first edition by beating Sri Lanka Legends in the final by 14 runs. The participation of teams and players is not yet confirmed.
