India chased down 160 runs in the last over of the match against Pakistan
Speaking about the video, the host first asked Imad Wasim about his verdict. In response, Wasim said that it was a no-ball. Then, Aaqib Javed said: “Yes. Aur yeh jo humari khwaish hai na ke woh third umpire se puchta toh woh do hui thi. Dono no ho jaati. Dinesh Karthik ke saath jo hui hi. Review le jaate toh do no-ball ho jaate.” (Yes. And as per our wish, if he would ask the third umpire, then two no-balls would have happened. It was also a no-ball that was bowled to Dinesh Karthik. If he would take the review, then two no-balls would have been called by the umpires.”)
Meanwhile, Moeen Khan said he was not so sure about the decision as it was very marginal. Speaking about the incident, the no-ball controversy happened on the fourth delivery of the over. Mohammad Nawaz bowled a full toss at waist height and Kohli smashed that for six runs. However, the second delivery of the over which he bowled to Dinesh Karthik was also a full toss. Aaqib Javed claimed that the ball was a no-ball and no one claimed. Even, the umpires missed it.
Speaking about the match, Pakistan scored 159 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs while batting first. In reply, India managed to chase it down with four wickets to spare. Now, India will be in action again on 27 October against the Dutch in Sydney.
