Rights of the inaugural Nepal Premier League handed To Seven 3 sports

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) declared the debut season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) last Wednesday. The NPL is an achievement in the history of Nepal cricket and the Cricket enthusiasts of Nepal eagerly-awaited for this league.

The Cricket Association of Nepal settled a deal with Seven 3 Sports Pvt. Ltd. It is an organization situated in Gurugram, India. Seven 3 Sports will contribute with an astounding amount of Rs.420 million for 10 years.

Seven 3 Sports will conduct the Nepal Premier League and Junior Cricket Championship. As revealed by CAN, the organization additionally has consented to assist in the maintenance of at least two stadiums, installation of floodlights, pavilion, and other infrastructural progress.

Seven 3 Sports has a long alliance with Nepal

Recently, major cricketing boards of the world have endured monetarily after the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has broken the foundation of the cricketing world as major cricket tournaments, and events have either been delayed or suspended for an indefinite period.

The step of CAN to form a 10-year strategic partnership with Seven 3 Sports comes at a time when the world is looking up to cricket boards and associations. These boards and associations can effectively conduct and organize such an impressive level of competition.

Besides, Seven 3 Sports has a long alliance with Nepal. In 2014, Seven 3 Sports was the company that brought FIFA telecast for the first time in Nepal. Again in 2020, it's the same organization that has won the right to introduce an official T20 league for the Nepal cricket enthusiasts.
