In a recent piece of news, skipper Rohit Sharma has joined Team India in London ahead of the World Test Championship 2023 final against Australia. Both teams will play this much-anticipated clash for the coveted title at The Oval in London from the 7^th of June. India have made it to the final of the Test Championship for the second consecutive time after they lost against New Zealand in the first edition of the championship.

Notably, Rohit Sharma was associated with the Mumbai Indians franchise in the just-concluded edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. His team made it to the playoffs of the tournament but got eliminated with a defeat in the second qualifier against the IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans.
