'Sai baba ki kirpa hai' - Fans react as police find influencer Sapna Gill's molestation claim against Prithvi Shaw 'false and unfounded'

In a recent piece of news, the Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw has got a big relief in a molestation case against him filed by the social media influencer Sapna Gill. The Mumbai Police recently released a statement in which they seemed to give a clean chit to Shaw and also found Sapna Gill guilty of the entire incident.

"Molestation case against Prithvi Shaw by Sapna Gill is false and baseless. Sapna herself was drunk and chased Shaw's car after he refused to take a selfie,” said Mumbai Police in a statement.

This statement from Mumbai Police also drew a lot of reactions from the Indian cricket fans on social media; they took to Twitter and came up with various opinions about this incident involving Prithvi Shaw and Sapna Gill.

This incident happened near around the Indian Premier League 2023 which also affected Shaw’s game in the tournament and he couldn’t perform up to the expectations. The 23-year-old Southpaw played for the Delhi Capitals franchise in 8 innings of the 8 matches and scored only 106 runs with a poor average of 13.25 including only one half-century to his name.

He has also been in the headlines of Indian cricket for being overlooked by the selectors while selecting the squad of the national side of Team India for the bilateral clashes.

Now, there are very less chances that he will get to play for India early in the near future due to the tough competition and the rise of some other young uncapped players.
