Now, in both the upcoming ODI and T20I series, Gill has gained a place to represent his country. However, he made some headlines due to a dating rumour with the Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan.

Speaking of the video, Shubman Gill was seen attending Preeti and Neeti Simoe’s Punjabi chat show, Dil Diyan Gallan. On that show, the reporter asked the star batter about his preferred fittest Bollywood actress. In reply, Gill responded: “Sara.” When he was asked about the dating rumours with Sara, Gill said: “Maybe.”  

The host said: “Sara ka sara sach bolo.” In reply to that, Gill blushed and replied: “Sara da sara sach bol diya. Maybe, maybe not.” Hearing such a reply, fans went crazy as the video went viral all over the internet. Earlier, Gill and Sara were seen having dinner in Dubai. Then, both of them got spotted together in a hotel and flight. 

Speaking of Gill’s career, he performed well for his Gujarat franchise in the last season of the Indian T20 League. Then, he became the highest run scorer for India in both the ODI series in West Indies and Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, he impressed everyone with his consistent performance ahead of the 50-over World Cup in India in 2023. Now, in the upcoming T20I series in New Zealand, Shubman Gill might get some chance to showcase his talent in the shortest format of the game. In the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Gill scored 260 runs in six innings, at an average of 52. He smashed 126 runs off 55 balls for Punjab against Karnataka.
