Sara Tendulkar set to make her Bollywood debut - Reports

As per reports, veteran cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar might make her acting debut in Bollywood. The 24-year old has already worked as a model for an international brand called Self-Portrait. Sara graduated from the University College of London and had followed in the footsteps of her mother, who is a pediatrician.

However, Sara might be all set to change streams and make her debut as an actor in Bollywood. Sara also has a substantial social media following, with 1.9 million Instagram followers currently. Sara's brother, Arjun Tendulkar, on the other hand, has followed in the footsteps of their father. He is a cricketer and represents Mumbai in the domestic circuit and the Indian T20 League.

"Sara might make her Bollywood debut soon. She has been very much interested in acting and she has even taken a few acting lessons as she does some brand endorsements," a source told Bollywood Life.

"Sara who often maintains a low key profile might leave the audience surprised with her acting skills. She is extremely talented and her parents are extremely supportive of whatever decision she makes," the source further added.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 49th Birthday on Sunday, 24th April. The veteran cricketer retired from international cricket in 2013 after completing 24 years in his career. He made his debut for the Indian team in 1989 at the age of 16.

The entire cricketing fraternity wished him on his birthday and made the day special for him. "A most auspicious day when someone of your goodness and talent came into this world, @sachin_rt. May all your wishes be fulfilled far beyond your wildest dreams and may you live a healthy, prosperous and inspiring life filled with love," Sachin's former teammate VVS Laxman tweeted. Along with him, several present and former cricketers also wished Tendulkar on his birthday.

The master blaster appeared in 200 Test matches, scoring 15291 runs, including 51 hundreds. In 463 ODI games, Sachin Tendulkar scored 18426 runs at an average of 44.8 and 49 centuries.
