Former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar has come up with a massive appreciation for the young GT star Shubman Gill for his performances throughout the entire season of IPL 2023. Sachin took to his Twitter handle to come up with a long post in Gill’s appreciation and also lauded the way the young batter throughout the season.
“Shubman Gill's performance this season has been nothing short of unforgettable, marked by two centuries that left an indelible impact. One century ignited Mumbai Indians’ hopes, while the other dealt them a crushing blow. Such is the unpredictable nature of cricket,” wrote Sachin in the first part of the tweet he posted from his official Twitter handle.

“What truly impressed me about Shubman's batting was his remarkable temperament, unwavering calmness, hunger for runs, and astute running between the wickets,” he added later.
Notably, it was the Mumbai Indians on the receiving end of Shubman Gill’s onslaught in the second qualifier of the current season of the Indian Premier League. Sachin Tendulkar further lavished praise on Gill for accelerating the momentum in favour of the defending champions Gujarat Titans against the five-time title-winning side Mumbai Indians.
“In high-scoring encounters, there are always decisive moments that shape the outcome, and Shubman's exceptional acceleration from the 12th over onwards propelled Gujarat Titans to a monumental total. It was a display of his capacity to seize momentum and make a profound impact on the game,” wrote Sachin further lauding Gill’s excellence with the bat in the current season.
